Frequently asked questions

How is registration completed?

Registration is done exclusively online through the form available on this webpage.
The process involves three simple steps:

  1. Fill in the participant and parent/guardian details here.

  2. Complete payment online by credit card.

  3. Receive the confirmation email securing your place.

  4. If the confirmation email is not received, please check your spam/junk folder or contact campusfutbol@valenciacf.es.

Is it a high-performance camp?

No. It is a recreational and educational camp, focused on technical improvement, enjoyment, and teamwork rather than competitive intensity. The Camp is open both to registered players and to those who play football recreationally.

What is the philosophy of the VCF Academy? How are its values transmitted during the Camp?

The philosophy of the VCF Academy is based on the motto “We educate people, we develop footballers”. Our aim is not only to improve sporting development, but also to instil values and form responsible, supportive individuals with a positive mindset both on and off the pitch.

This philosophy is guided by three core values that define the identity of the Club:

  • Sentiment: pride in belonging to Valencia CF, respect, and passion for the game.

  • Valentia: courage, initiative, and the will to never give up.

  • Germanor: teamwork, solidarity, and unity.

These values are transmitted through every session via exercises that foster autonomous decision-making, effort, cooperation, and responsibility, as well as through the daily values workshops delivered by the VCF Academy staff.

How are the groups organised?

The Camp is mixed, so boys and girls train together. Groups are organised by age and level to ensure that every participant trains in an environment suited to their abilities and pace. Groups may be adjusted during the Camp to improve each participant’s experience.

Is there specific training for goalkeepers?

Yes. Every day combines group sessions with specific goalkeeper training led by specialist VCF Academy coaches. To participate in these sessions, goalkeeper gloves are mandatory.

What is the coach-to-player ratio?

The minimum ratio is 1 coach per 14 - 16 players.

What is the language of the Camp?

The main language of the Camp is Spanish. If there are international participants, English will be used as a complementary language to ensure proper communication between coaches and players. Valencian may also be used naturally in daily communication.

What should participants bring each day?

  • Full Puma Valencia CF training kit (delivered on the first day).

  • Sports bag or backpack with change of clothes, towel, flip-flops, shower gel and/or shampoo (optional).

  • Football boots with rubber or multi-stud soles and shin guards. This equipment is mandatory for participating in training sessions.

  • Reusable water bottle.

  • Warm clothing or rain jacket, depending on weather conditions.

  • Warm layers may be worn under the official Puma Valencia CF training kit, such as thermal shirts, long-sleeve tops or tights, in black or white.
Warm layers over the uniform are permitted only if they are official Valencia CF products from the 2025/26 season, in white (sweatshirt/rain jacket) or black (training trousers).

What should participants not bring?

  • Valuable items: money, electronic devices, etc.

  • Accessories not suitable for football: sunglasses, watches, bracelets, rings, etc.

  • Clothing or accessories (bottles, hats, bags, etc.) from other professional football clubs.

  • Food.

How do the snacks work?

The Camp includes a daily snack, served between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Snacks are designed to be balanced and suitable for physical activity, including sandwiches or mini baguettes, fresh fruit, and/or juice.

It is essential that families clearly specify in the “Observations” section of the registration form any allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions of the participant. This information is key to guaranteeing the safety and wellbeing of all children during the Camp.

What behaviour rules must participants follow?

Participants must respect their teammates, coaches, and staff, as well as the daily rules and routines of the Camp. The Camp promotes an environment based on respect, tolerance, and the core values of the VCF Academy.

Any serious misconduct or inappropriate behaviour may lead to the immediate expulsion of the participant. In that case, parents or legal guardians will be notified immediately and must collect their child.

The consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or any type of drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion without refund.

Which is the Camp communication channel?

Will participants meet Valencia CF first-team players?

The Camp does not include any scheduled meeting with players from the Valencia CF first teams.
However, if the Club’s calendar allows, some players may drop by to greet the participants during the Camp.

What happens if it rains or gets cold?

The Camp activities will continue as planned in case of moderate rain or low temperatures. Activities will only be cancelled or modified in case of an orange or red weather alert, or if weather conditions compromise participants’ safety or wellbeing or the normal activity.

In such cases, sessions will be moved to covered areas inside the Training Centre or rescheduled to ensure the correct running of the programme.

What happens in case of injury or illness during the Camp?

If an injury or illness occurs during Camp hours, the medical staff at the Valencia CF Training Centre will provide immediate first aid, and the situation will be promptly communicated to the participant’s family or guardian.

If further medical care or transfer to a hospital is required, the family will be contacted first.
Club staff will not transport participants under any circumstances; this will be the responsibility of parents/guardians or, in emergencies, an ambulance service.

All participants are covered by medical assistance and accident insurance for the duration of the Camp.

Can registrations be cancelled?

Yes. Registration can be cancelled free of charge within 14 days of purchase. After that period, cancellations will only be refundable for medically justified reasons, upon submission of a medical certificate.
